Cyber Security Awareness: Students Lead with Nukkad Natak and Quiz to Promote Digital Safety

Dev Sanskriti Students’ Club, under the initiative of the Rakshak: Safety, Security & Disaster Management Club, organized a focused “Cyber Security Awareness” session at Ramanujan Hall (Chaitanya Bhawan, First Floor). The 30-minute program aimed to raise awareness among students about the safe and responsible use of computers and mobile devices, and to address challenges related to the growing threat of cyber frauds.
The event began with a Nukkad Natak (street play) performed by students, entirely dedicated to spreading awareness about cybersecurity in everyday life. The play used engaging storytelling and real-life scenarios to highlight common online threats and the importance of protective measures in the digital age.
Following the play, an interactive quiz was conducted to assess participants’ understanding of cybersecurity concepts. The quiz not only tested knowledge but also reinforced best practices for staying safe online.
The session’s core objectives were to:
- Increase awareness of online safety among students.
- Encourage responsible usage of digital devices.
- Equip students with practical strategies to identify and prevent cyber threats.
With active participation and collaborative learning, the event proved to be both informative and impactful, strengthening the culture of digital safety within the university.
