Cyber Shiksha: Essential Computer Skills for Everyday Life – Empowering Students with Digital Literacy

Dev Sanskriti Students’ Club, under the initiative of Kriti: The Creative Club, hosted a dynamic training session titled “Cyber Shiksha: Essential Computer Skills for Everyday Life” at Ramanujan Lab. The hour-long program was dedicated to equipping students with practical computer and mobile skills for academic success, professional growth, and everyday efficiency.
The session opened with a warm inaugural address, setting the tone for a day of hands-on learning. A visual presentation introduced the core themes, emphasizing the relevance of computer literacy in today’s fast-paced digital era. The following segment focused on Basic System Operations and Lab Etiquettes, highlighting responsible use of shared resources.
Participants were then engaged with Picture Perception & Computer Shortcuts, followed by valuable tips on Desktop Navigation & Maintenance. Creativity met technology in a thoughtful poetry performance on Cyber Shiksha, blending art with digital awareness.
The training also addressed Smartphone Optimization and Safety, and moved into Digital Communication Essentials, covering Gmail efficiency and LinkedIn for professional networking.
