On the final day of celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship as National Sports Day at Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya students, faculty,staff, kids and participants of Women Cell came together to celebrate the birth anniversary of Hockey Legend Major Dhyan Chand as a series of sports events. Honorable Dr. Chinmay Pandya Sir graced the occasion and joined the sports enthusiasts playing with them on ground sharing the message "Ek Ghanta Khel Ke Maidan Me"
Various sports events and enthusiastic participation from everyone became instrumental to achieve the objective of the event. Women participants enthusiastically participated in Seven Stone Indian Traditional Sports. Faculty and Kids participated in Badminton matches. Kids joined the students, faculty on the Badminton Court and learnt the lessons of Sports Man Spirit while playing matches. Musical Chair was the main attraction when Kids participated with great zeal and made the event successful.
Morning & Evening | Kho-Kho Matches ( Boys / Girls ) : Saptarshi Mandal Teams Participated Enthusiastically
In the morning & evening session an energetic round of Kho-Kho Matches where students showcased their team spirit, strength, and sportsmanship was organized. Students from Saptrishi Mandal participated in the event.

Awareness Sessions
Spreading awareness was the core objective of the sports events. Time and again the story of Great Legend Major Dhyan Chand Ji was shared with everyone and benefits of Sports & Yog was also spread along the events.
Participants raised the slogan of Ek Ghanta Khel Ke Maidan Me and pledged to alway make it a habit to come on ground and work for fitness.
