Valediction Ceremony – International Conference on “Faith & Future: Integrating AI with Spirituality”
The Valediction Ceremony of the International Conference at Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar, marked a powerful conclusion to a day of deep reflection and futuristic dialogue.
The session was graced by Respected Dr. Chinmay Pandya Ji, Pro Vice Chancellor of DSVV and Youth Representative of All World Gayatri Pariwar, who delivered an inspiring Presidential Address, underlining the urgent need to align technological progress with spiritual values, ethical responsibility, and the vision of humanity’s collective upliftment.
The ceremony began with the Indian National Anthem and lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a profound discourse on Faith and AI by Acharya Lokesh Muni Ji.
The Chief Guest Address was delivered by the Honourable Governor of Uttarakhand, Lt. Gen. Gurmit Singh (Retd.), who emphasized India’s pivotal role in shaping an AI future rooted in values, democracy, and humanity.
Keynote reflections were shared by Mr. Abhishek Singh (Additional Secretary, MeitY & CEO of IndiaAI Mission), while distinguished Guest of Honour addresses were delivered by Ms. Jimena Alvarez, Prof. Stuart Russell, Prof. Robert Trager, Ms. Sneha Revanur, and Mr. Jaan Tallinn, each bringing unique global perspectives on the ethical and social implications of AI.
The session also included the Recognition of Excellence Awards, honouring outstanding contributions, and the felicitation of all esteemed guests with momentos and the sacred offering of pure Gangajal, symbolizing DSVV’s tradition of blending knowledge with cultural-spiritual depth.
The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Mr. William Jones (Future of Life Institute), followed by the Indian National Anthem, sealing the day with unity and resolve.
